Deaf access to support

BSL signing

As well as email you can contact us by free calls via online BSL interpreter through Contact Scotland BSL.

Contact Scotland BSL is the online BSL interpreting service enabling you to contact a range of services including your Council, Police 101, NHS 24, your GP, support agencies and more. Calls are free, and available until midnight daily.

Our helpline

Our main helpline service is available every day 6pm to midnight by:

  • Phone: 08088 01 03 02

The helpline is staffed entirely by women offering support to anyone aged 13+ who has been affected by any form of sexual violence, no matter when in their lives it happened.

Childline has a deafzone for young deaf people which has information and BSL videos on a range of topics such as bullying, staying safe online and emotional and physical abuse.
