Forth Valley Rape Crisis - Support workers (2 posts)
Fixed term until end September 2021
"It's a great service. The support, the advocacy, you've been keeping me alive. I'm truly grateful. The staff are all well- chosen and well trained - it shines through. You just have good attitudes and you get it right." Client Feedback
Do you want to make a real
difference in the lives of people who have survived rape and sexual assault? Two opportunities have arisen for exceptional
professionals to work with us at Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre.
We are seeking to appoint one worker to develop and deliver a new Outreach Service to reach out to survivors across the Forth Valley area. The second worker will focus on developing services for survivors who are on our waiting list. You will have effective and comprehensive communication skills, with experience of working with people of all genders. You will be able to work as part of a team but with a high level of autonomy.
If you have a strong empathy with this area of work; if you value integrity, compassion and teamwork; if you want to work in an inclusive and nurturing environment; if you have a feminist understanding of sexual violence and knowledge of the cause and impact then this could be the next career move for you.
