Advocacy Worker (F/T) Scottish Women's Rights Centre
The Scottish Women’s Rights Centre (SWRC) at Rape Crisis Scotland is seeking to hire an Advocacy Worker. The overall aim of this post is to provide support and advocacy to survivors who are engaged with the SWRC following an experience of gender-based violence.
The SWRC is a unique collaborative project which aims to improve justice outcomes for women in Scotland who have experienced gender-based violence, bringing together the expertise of Rape Crisis Scotland, JustRight Scotland and the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic.
This post is funded by the Scottish Government until March 2021, continuation of funding will be sought beyond this period in furtherance of a 3-year delivery plan.
Location: Glasgow (with some travel around Scotland)
Hours: 35 hours a week
Benefits: 30 days annual leave and 12 days public holidays, 8% employer's pension contribution
