Advocacy Worker - Support to Report, Glasgow & Clyde Rape Crisis Centre
Part time – 17.5 hours per week
Salary - £27,303 pro rata
Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis (GCRC) is recruiting a part time (17.5 hours per week) Advocacy Worker for the Support to Report project.
The overall aim of this post is to develop and deliver a partnership based response to survivors of sexual violence who wish to engage, or have already engaged with, the criminal justice process following a rape or sexual assault.
The worker will be based at GCRC’s office in Glasgow city centre but will be expected to work at other venues as required.
Applicants should have at least two years experience of working directly with survivors of sexual violence, have an understanding of the principles of independent advocacy and have a working knowledge of the Scottish criminal justice system. Weekend and evening work may be required.
