Established on 9th August 2004, Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre is situated in Hamilton, and delivers its services across North & South Lanarkshire. LRCC provides emotional & practical support to women, and girls over 12 years of age, who have experienced rape and/or any other form of sexual abuse in their lifetime.

LRCC work in partnership with a number of local agencies, and with violence against women partnerships in North & South Lanarkshire to tackle issues surrounding gender based violence. LRCC aims to provide Choice, Support & Empowerment to women and girls, and help them to take back control of their own lives after the impact that trauma has had over a period of time. As their HR Business Partner we are supporting the organisation in recruiting a Sexual Violence Prevention Worker (21-25 hours per week), a funded role within the organisation which has current funding to 31st March 2020 however this may be extended by a further three years.
