Moray Rape Crisis Support & Advocacy Worker

Moray Rape Crisis is recruiting a full time Support & Advocacy worker to provide a support and advocacy service to survivors of sexual violence age 11+ who are engaged with or considering engaging with the criminal justice process. This post is part of the National Advocacy Project – a partnership between Rape Crisis Scotland and 17 Rape Crisis Centres in Scotland, working to improve the justice experience for survivors.

This post is funded by the Scottish Government until October 2021 initially, with further funding being sought beyond then. Download an Application Pack below.

Advocacy Worker, RASAC Perth & Kinross

The Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre Perth & Kinross are looking for an Advocacy Worker to join our Support Services team. Part of the National Rape Crisis Advocacy Project, this role will provide specialist support and advocacy for survivors age 16+ who are considering reporting to police, or who are already engaged in the criminal justice system following a sexual crime. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will work with a range of stakeholders. Experience of providing support and/or advocacy to individuals affected by trauma is essential, alongside a commitment to working within a gendered analysis of Violence Against Women.
