August 2004 Full details of legal seminar on 19 August

Legal Responses to Rape

A seminar

examining responses to rape in Scotland , England & Wales and New Zealand

Rape is at an all time high, yet figures suggest only 4% of rapes recorded by the police in Scotland lead to a conviction. At a time when both the prosecution of rape and sexual offences and the criminal law in this area are under review, this seminar provides an essential opportunity to critically examine legal responses to rape.
