Hemat Gryffe Women’s Aid
Aims to provide safe, temporary accommodation for women and their
children (males up to 16) primarily of Asian, black and minority
ethnic origin who have been subjected to any form of domestic abuse.
Meridian Black and Ethnic Minority Women's Information & Resource
Centre
Aims to empower women to identify, plan and achieve for themselves.
Offers advice and information, training and employment, counselling,
health initiatives, childcare and playscheme and more – for
black and ethnic minority women who suffer from physical, psychological,
economic and emotional abuse. Women only.
Shakti Women’s Aid
Information and safe refuge for black and minority ethnic women,
and their children if any, fleeing domestic abuse within their homes,
from their partners and other relatives. Support and counselling.
